I kept resetting various settings and repeatedly hit up the network choosing page in Settings until it worked - took a couple of hours though. Weird... I like my house. So i did just that. Still got hit with huge bill though... i am chuckling in sympathy.

Presumably the online account also showed nothing - that's a big gaping hole in their functionality too. I suppose they implemented this because of all those people who go abroad, rack up huge bills, and then complain when they get back that they've been charged...
