SXSW 2008 – Stories, Games and Your Brand

by danhon

I’ve been invited to take part in a panel for next year’s SXSW, Stories, Games and Your Brand by my good friend Rachel Clarke, of Behind the Buzz.

Here’s the blurb for the panel:

A look at how interactive gaming, storytelling and puzzles can engage users with your brand. Movie and TV producers are increasingly using these tactics to promote their entertainment but is it possible for other brands to provide such experiences for their adorers or to attract new customers.

We’re going to try and get Roo Reynolds (Metaverse Evangelist at IBM) and Jeremy Ettinghausen (Digital Publisher at Penguin UK) along as co-panellists, so it should definitely be a good conversation, and we’ll make sure there’s ample time for Q&As.

Rachel was at my panel at this year’s SXSW (11th best panel, woo!) and we did a fun follow-up interview where I spilled some of the beans about how we put Perplex City together at Mind Candy.

So. Vote for the panel! Vote now, early, and often!
